First Cruise Ship Visitors of 2014 take in Llangollen Railway

The visit of ‘The Ruby Princess’ to the Liverpool Cruise Terminal saw coach trips to North Wales organised on 29th May 2014.

As part of their escorted tour, 110 cruise passengers took in a steam train ride from Llangollen to Carrog.

The overseas visitors were thrilled to take the train journey through the Dee Valley as part of their day out which also included an afternoon visit to Chirk Castle.

It is the first of several booked group visits from ships calling at Liverpool this year.
