Llangollen Railway features on Radio Wales

The Radio Wales Country Focus programme featuring the Llangollen Railway and their visit to the Dee valley is now promoted on their website with the following preamble:

Heritage railways are worth £250m to the UK economy – helping to bring vital money into local communities. In north Wales, at the peak of the season, they employ more than 300 workers and are enjoyed by 800,000 plus passengers. This year it’s full steam ahead for the Llangollen heritage railway which is extending the line two and half miles to Corwen.

The programme goes out at 0700 on Sunday 25 May and may be picked up later on their website.
