Our much-loved 1960’s Weekend returns this August!
Dig out your flares or mini-skirt and get ready to sample the atmosphere of the 1960s on a Welsh branch line.
We are recreating the British rail network as it was in the 1960s, with an intensive timetable operated by steam and diesel trains, and the scenic diesel railcar.
Everyone is encouraged to dress up in their best retro clothing and immerse themselves in the decade’s sights, sounds and ambience!
Numerous live singers will be performing at Llangollen Station throughout the weekend playing a wide range of hits.
At Llangollen Station on Saturday evening we are holding a Dance, where you can join us and dance the night away! We will also have pizza van “Little Italy” on site with their fabulous Italian cuisine. Tickets can be added to your Day Rover for an additional fee or purchased separately.
Refreshment facilities at Llangollen, Corwen and Glyndyfrdwy (including Porter’s Bar).
