Classic Transport Weekend
We are delighted to announce that our Classic Transport Weekend will be held over the 5th and 6th July 2025.
Travel back in time and see classic transport of the day including motorcycles, cars, trucks, tractors, buses and trains. We will be running an intensive timetable of steam, diesel and heritage railcars throughout the weekend.
A free vintage bus service for ticket holders will be operating between Glyndyfrdwy and Corwen running every 30 minutes from 10am till 5pm on both days.
Our Day Rover and Two Day Rover tickets will be available to purchase in advance on our website in due course.

CLASSIC VEHICLE DISPLAY ENTRIES
There will be a vintage vehicle display at Glyndyfrdwy and vehicle bookings are open now.
Vehicle entry is FREE but with the high volume of vehicle entries which we now receive, we urge you to enter early due to the restriction of space. If you wish to enter your vehicle either complete the online booking registration form on the green link below or print out and fill in the form on the red link below and return it to the address shown on the form. Please ENCLOSE AN A5 SAE for all information. Failure to do so will result in a failed entry to the event. Entries should be received no later than 1st June 2025.
Any postal entries’ numbers and information will be sent out approximately Two Weeks before the event takes place. Online entries will be sent out as they are received.
Due to the escalating costs which Llangollen Railway is now experiencing we are no longer able to offer the free rail travel passes. If you wish to travel on the railway a charge of £5 per person will now replace the free ticket as per last year. Reduced price tickets are limited per vehicle. This will still enable you to travel the full length of the line but at a greatly discounted cost from normal gala ticket prices. I’m sure that you will agree this is still a great saving!
