Diesel Weekend – 1st and 2nd June 2024
This will be a busy weekend with a great atmosphere that will take visitors back to the halcyon era of British Rail diesel-hauled trains that ran our rail network between the 1960’s and 1990’s.
All available diesel locomotives are expected to be in use including the Class 31 No 31271, Class 47 1566 and Class 26 No 5310.
The event will see a frequent timetable including freight loading demonstrations. More details will be issued nearer the time.
On Saturday 2nd June we will also be running an evening service, more information to follow.
